Who: June OTA
What: June has gone off campus by herself. Without telling anyone.
When: Sunday afternoon
Where: Not too far from campus, but not technically on campus.
Rating: With June? PG at best.

Finally the snow would be melting and green buds would be popping up all over the place to give birth to new and beautiful flowers. This being New England mud season came first but June could handle a little mud. Today, though. Today was perfect. There was still snow on the ground that was melting, but not enough uncovered ground to make mud. The sun was high, the clouds were few, and the breeze that blew was more warm than cold for once. It was not a day to stay indoors. So June decided to go for a walk.

The morning had already been busy with church and Sunday School. She and Kitty had tried out several before finding Calvary Bible, a Unitarian church just fifteen minutes away by car. The people there were nice and June already had a couple of friends. This had been their third Sunday going and she was happy there. She just hoped Kitty was okay going there since she was Jewish.

After lunch out, Kitty brought June back to the mansion. She said she had some work to do and left June to her own devices, thus driving the girl to follow her feet outside. She was still in the dress she wore that morning and still wore her dress shoes as she walked down the tree lined street off the long driveway to the campus. No one had ever told her specifically that going off campus wasn't allowed without an adult. Really, she wasn't thinking about it at all. June was just following the path and wound up passing the gates. She'd decided to go left and see what she could find since anytime she left campus it was always a right turn.
