As I'm not really taking part in the Hohoho-fest (only enjoying the entries), I'm always imagining what I would have liked best to receive. First it was definitely fic. Then I realised how little great icons I own. But a funny story with pictures (I don't know how the correct name is, comic-strip, photo-story??) - OMG, I'd loved to get one of these!
