yeah, that last part just really broke me, in a good way. I mean:
The darkness of the surrounding stadium bled away until the space failed to exist, until there was only the ice and brilliant light that illuminated it.
it starts with such a quiet and peaceful setting and I felt all serene reading it, and the next second Deniz is there, breaking down on the ice, waiting for Roman to appear beside him. and knowing that he sat and watched that dvd the whole day is just... I can only think of Giorgia's icon now and gahhhhh LET ME HOLD HIM.

and just when I thought it couldn't get more painful, Roman's been watching him all along, wanting to move but he's so unsure if he should and then there's this:
Plans, businesses and lives had been destroyed by bad choices and the malice of others but to see Roman so destroyed by himself was unsettling. Because Ekkehardt knew it was inside him too, his own insecurities and doubts could eat him away and undermine him just as easily if they were given power.
and I'm dead.
who are you and how do you know exactly why I love Roman and his issues?! Ekkehardt is me, isn't he? (except I can't vid)
also: He had long since stopped trying to decide if he wanted Florian or wanted to be him.

now onto the more fun part of the story.
I like the general idea of the fic. Ekkehardt is such a fanboy!
and it's interesting to get both fic and vid at the same time. because I can totally see it all happening on screen, and Ekkehardt's thoughts on how he cuts and zooms and switches cameras are awesome! all these little details that make the characters who they are, but in a general overview, and they're all connected to each other. it's lovely <333

I really liked the Claudia part, because I never really think about her, she's just... there. everywhere. I might pay more attention to her now. where has she been lately anyway?

Vanessa rocks this thing anyway, because that silent hug with Jenny... damn. :S I miss Jenny and the way she used to be, and how well her new-found relationship with Vanessa worked. and her dancing, of course.
