First of all: I don't have a VaNina icon and that sucks!

Second: This story is absolutely beautiful and the girls are so lovely and playful and vulnerable. And I somehow want to throw some invisible protective shield over them, to make sure nothing and nobody can ever harm them. Sorry, I know it's the season, but I can't help it.

Third: I'm not so sure if this is really AU. If Nina had stayed on the show, I could have seen this absolutely happening, it would have made total sense with everything that went before, no need to rewrite the past and, hell, those girls would have had it in them to make one of the most lovable and entertaining couples of the show.

So many missed opportunities! So thank you Mystery Author for this wonderful piece about two of my favourite characters!
