This is so lovely! So, so lovely! I adore the mood of this piece, how it's all languid and playful and detailed in just the right places. It's like a warm, fresh, yummy chocolate volcano that just melts on your tongue. I LOVE the descriptions of their bed dynamics, how they're slightly-annoyed-but-not-really by each other's sleeping habits - Vanessa coming to bed late and moving about, and Nina changing positions all the time - they're such intimate, fond details and totally something that I can see them doing. Vanessa with her library sleep, Nina being a petulant restless sleeper and musing about the weirdness of being a grown-up. AWWWWWWWW GIRLS, WHY SO ADORBS!!! *squishes them*

And GUH, the last part! Hot and beautiful! I adore the humour in it, the slight tone of exasperation that you can only really have with someone that you love to bits no matter how much they annoy you sometimes - you've captured that really beautifully and it's making me all embarrassingly mushy even as I type, hahahaha. I LOVE THESE TWO TOGETHER SO MUCH! The giggling! The teasing! The symmetry of biting first one collarbone, then the other! (IDK why but I love that detail so much, it feels like such a Vanessa thing to do). And I love the parallel Nina draws between Vanessa's hand and her skating... I don't know why that touched me so much, perhaps because when I think of Vanessa, I rarely think of her on skates, so that struck me as a really interesting image. And MROW, the end of this! Your warning (hahahahaha) is entirely silly because this is just perfect as it is, with sly teasing and super-sexy little details (fingernails! hand in hair! needy noises!) and warm yummy vibrant loveliness.

THIS IS TOTALLY CANON, BY THE WAY. YES, YES IT IS. SHOW CAN FUCK RIGHT OFF. OMG SO AWESOME.
