I am also throwing a new character out there, an OC to be precise!

Her name's Adelaide Russell or Firefly. She has a permenant field of bio/organic electricity around her and as such can manipulate/interrupt other electric fields, man-made or organic. Like dropping a toaster in a swimming pool!

Anyway, she's the equivalent of the school councillor and an ex-student herself.

Looking forward to getting her involved, her journal is static_psyche and my aim is, as always estelwillow.

Hi all,

It's Mands again with another new OC that's willing and able to join the ranks :)

Her name is Evelyn Ward otherwise known as Eve or Adept if you'd prefer to call her. She's currently a member of an elite unit within the government, going places and doing things that no ordinary soldier can.

She's got the talent of being able to pick up any weapon and learning it instantly and coupled with this she has above average reflexes and strength.

Did I mention she's Irish? No? Well, she is.

And, yes, I realise she's missing a personality in her bio, it'll be added soon, I promise! It completely slipped my mind >.<

Alright guys, kidnapping plot time. We're going ahead with this over the weekend. For those of you joining us recently, please refer to this post, and also let us know what will be happening with your pups. If any of you have changed your minds or had new ideas, also please let us know. Just comment here so I can keep track of things more easily (I get distra-- ooh look at the kitty!)

If you'll be on hiatus soon (as in the case of Kiri-mun) you can make your posts early, but I think everyone else will be around. You can post clear into next week until, say, Thursday.

A group will be going to the history museum (see participants below) and they'll get abducted by some nasty folks. The captured mutants will be used to test a new robotic prototype (can you see where we're going with this?). While they are in captivity they will have inhibitor collars around their necks preventing them from using their powers willfully, and the collars go boom if they are removed improperly. This is not going to be pretty, these people are not above killing our pups, and there'll be some abuse so plan accordingly.

You can make up what happens to your pups and if you'd like actual interaction with the Big Bad let us mods know and we'll NPC that shit.

Hiya! It's Kiri, again. Another character, woohoo!

This is Gaia. She's a reality shaper/telepath/telekinetic from another dimension. She's been on earth for a while, so don't worry. She's developed manners (when necessary) and is pretty much house trained at this point. She's an old friend of Logan's from when they were both living on Madripoor. For her story go to her profile. It's all there.

Now she's living not too far from the institute in a loft apartment and stripping for a living. She's pretty much thinking that she really needs to go poke Logan at some point, but will get to it when she feels like it. She's outgoing and a bit of a party girl. Enjoys living in the moment, etc.

Hello all you beautiful people! I'm rev and I am bringing you the marvelous Terry Cassidy aka Siryn. She's a bit of an exile after leaving her own little band of mutants and coming to the institutes with her wee little girl Maeve. She's going to be teaching Public Speaking and Debate.

So apparantly because I'm terrible at being on hiatus and stuff I bring to you two more charies.

First Amara Aquilla AKA Magma. From canon with the ability to conjure fire as well as taking on a full magma form and immunity to fire.

And Adalene Rios. She's an OC with the ability to shapeshift. At the moment she isn't affiliated with the X-men but hopefully soon she'llbe a resident and help out. Though she also goes by Sophia Milon and Veronica Tatou. Since she is a shapeshifter I was wondering if I could borrow icons of your charies? Though if you'd rather I don't I promise she won't ever shapeshift into your charie. :)

As for me I'll be back officially on thursday. Though as a heads up Rogue will be e-mailing Jubilee and Scot tomorrow for info/ride back. I was talking to someone on my LJ about the game and she asked me if we had a Wanted/Needed characters list. I couldn't recall or find one in the comm. This made Mylia gleeful as it gave her something to think about today. (Something that is actually more productive than usual)

Erik Lensherr/Magneto and Jean Grey/Phoenix are not eligible for this as they will be mod-controlled characters.

Obviously, Charles Xavier/Professor X is deceased, so not going to be in the game unless the mods need to do so for plotty reasons.

Hiya, kids! It's Kiri again! Obviously, since senior semester is winding down I've decided that it's high time I let myself have more characters.

And this little cutie has been stalking my brain for a while now anyway.

Meet Jamie Bartholomew, Millie's little brother. He's ten years old an an animal shape shifter. The thing is, he doesn't have a lot of things he's learned to shift into just yet, and since he's a kid everything he shifts into is in young animal form. So if he shifts into a dog, he's actually shifting into a puppy. Bear = cub, Horse = colt, etc. He's very personable and likes to play outside.

Alej here. Just an update on the hiatus thing...

Thanks to everyone who wished me well on the post my friend did. I had her put it up because I wasn't sure when I would be back on. Luckily though they figured out it was my small intestine giving me problems. A lot easier to take care of than what they thought it was going to be. So no surgery for me pero, you tengo med! lol (I have meds)

I was planning on going on a hiatus soon anyway due to finals coming up but it seemed to have come earlier. That's why I set up Rogue visiting home for a bit. There was a reason to my madness with that narrative post. She's a bit of a wreck right now so I was going to have her post a thing in her journal about leaving and possibly doing a thread of goodbye. But at the way things have gone down a few days ago I'll just post something in the journal and we'll say she's gone. I'm not sure what you guys want to do for punishment for Bobby/John/Rogue for skipping class and causing problems. Let me know and maybe she'll just go through hers when she gets back.

Sorry for all of the craziness here. It's a lot better since I got the meds, though I still feel like crap. and joy finals... XP I'll see you all in a little over a week.
