He's calmed down some. He's a little more low-key than he was before, at least. It has to do with his view of the world changing, and growing up and actually becoming responsible for his actions.

Hey, Tony makes an excellent adult friend. He won't talk to her like she's just a kid, and is willing to be more frank with teenagers than other people tend to be. He's also a realist, so there's that.
