so, i like beards. today (or i reckon yesterday) i was talking with a guy with a rather nice beard; i asked if it was temporary due to "no shave november". he, in his beardy glory, began complaining about hipsters and their fads. he apparently did not know the cause behind movember, so i educated him. he then railed against the patriarchy because there isn't a month dedicated for women regarding their prostate cancer awareness.
when was the last time someone disappointed you? or, if applicable, when's the last time you were cockblocked by your standards?

there’s an internet vortex that usually occurs around midnight; i'm drawn into a black hole of morbid wonder. did you know you can watch autopsies on youtube? yep. and i can’t tell you how many of dr. pimple popper’s videos i’ve watched in one sitting (judge me all you want, that shit is fascinating) but i reckon it’s a lot.
now, i can’t recall how i stumbled upon what i’m about to share with you, but gods bless the broken road that led me straight to i heart guts. the puns. the artistry. i mean look at the adorable prostate. SEMINAL STAR, i love this so much.
this might just be the nyquil talking but i wanna purchase one for all my friends and be the movember prostate oprah. all kidding aside, please take care of yourselves. i want y'all around for a long time.

as i sit here eating pop tarts at 9:00 on a friday night, i regret that i didn't cook myself a nice dinner and ordered food earlier that was not all that great. the thing is: i am not a fantastic cook. i am also not an amazing driver. there are lots of things i do well, but i feel like these are some adulthood blind spots. tell me some of yours.

friends & such, my ama still exists. ask me shit while i flit between geeking over meditations by marcus aurelius (you really really don't want me to blog about it, trust), agonzing over jared leto's name becoming synonymous with lestat, and toying with the ideas of 'now that's what i call bullshit v 5: who would jesus nuke?' and 'now that's what i call bullshit v. 6: white amerikkka/100 nazi scalps', titles pending.
approximately a month ago tour dates appeared on morrissey's spotify page. i thought an october 9th philly date was too good to be true because i am suspicious 99.9% of the time and apparently i was correct with my side-eye because the dates have since been removed. i'm not trying to dwell on it cause on october 27 i'm gonna see combichrist. i've been waiting to see combichrist live for a VERY long time. vnv nation will be in the area in september and dammit, him will be in philly in november for their farewell tour. so basically who will let myself and my two cuddlebats sleep on their sofa because i have no self control? good news is i'm holding out on guns n roses but if any of yall have an extra ticket, i mean, i'd pencil you in.

the nostalgia tunes required too much commitment and input so i'm gonna do this instead.
step 1: put your tunes on shuffle
step 2: post the first line(s) from the first 35 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing. see which of your friends can name the most songs.
step 3: strike out the songs when someone guesses the artist & track correctly
step 4: search engines = cheating
