Sometimes I worry about my mother. She called today to tell me that she and Dad wouldn't be home for Christmas. Which would be okay, but... she told me that right after Thanksgiving. I don't think she's declining in mental faculties or anything. I just worry about how much she's working. Neither of them have been home for more than a couple weeks in months.
I was hoping she was calling to say they had decided to take a break and settle back down for a few months. Maybe I can get my grandparents to talk to them.

The totals from the Auction are amazing, everyone. Thank you for your generous contributions to charity. For those of you who were on the other side of the bidding, please understand that this doesn't have to be a terrible process. Hopefully Our Dominari will show you that New Haven isn't what some of you are afraid of. I'm positive.

So, I basically threw my phone into the bottom of my bag when we landed in L.A. and I left it there until this morning, when I charged it and then got a very unhappy call from my Gran. So. I won't be doing that again. (To be fair, I told her I was going on a cruise and wouldn't be available!)
That doesn't mean I'm any more available though! I'm still too busy enjoying the sun and the sex to spend much time on my phone. There's a pool calling my name even now...
