There've been a lot of late nights long hours put in for last minute crafting, but I'm finally as ready for Comic Con as I'm going to get. I still can't quite believe I get to go, I want to make the most of it.




Now if you'll all excuse me, I'm going to try not to hyperventilate and avoid spontaneous combustion.

Of course! The only part I'm not sure will work is the wig I got. But that's not a world-ending issue.

Wonderful! I'm looking forward to seeing it. That makes sense. You might be more comfortable without it unless you're used to wearing a wig.

I do like wearing them sometimes, but I've never tried an all day thing before. It might end up being a bit much. Have you worn them much?

I used to LARP fairly regularly and it seemed like every time I tried to wear a wig I either had issues with it or ended up with a rash or something equally unpleasant. So I opted instead for dyes and crazy hair styles. I got pretty good at it.

Rashes! That sounds absolutely awful! What would you say is one of the craziest or wildest things you've done with your hair? I'm such a wimp about actually doing things with mine beyond pretty standard braids or whatnot.

The rash was definitely awful. Probably the craziest was a faerie I did one time. I did full on layered wings in my hair in shades of green and blue to match my regular wings. It was wicked awesome.

Washable is very doable you just don't want it if you might get rained on. It's no fun when it runs and dyes your face and neck. Wigs are very doable though. And then you can reuse them.

The really bad time I had it run I had done sort of a rainbow and it looked cool at first until the colors all ran together and it just looked gross. And it took me about a week to get it all off my neck and shoulders. I don't recommend it.

If you're good with wigs I'd say that's your best bet. Reusable and easier to style.

I imagine tickets are still available? I haven't heard anything about them being sold out, anyway. It should still be do-able.
