Jason/Dig
"I will not seek out quarrel with those outside my community." He said softly, remembering the oath he'd made. Jason had talked Tadhg down from revenge when his wife and daughter had been killed. How much of a hypocrite was he that all he wanted to do was take his army into the Red and end the threat once and for all? Diggers offer was tempting. He could justify the need for self defense. While Camelot didn't have rules against cybernetics- some members had them. They weren't revered like the vat-jobs did and most of Camelot was upgrade free (outside of social standards of course). Therefore, weapons that would put them on even footing was a necessity, right?
Jason watched as the squires started to put out the fire and cut down their friends. "They were still kids." He shook his head. "Seniors... all volunteered to work the meal so others could enjoy." Jason knew all the subjects of Camelot, and many in the community at large. But those he taught, he worked side by side with he knew. He made it a point to know them. If he asked them to go out and fight for him... he felt an obligation to know. Each of the men killed he knew their names, hobbies, best school subjects, their parents... they all actually had families. His nose wrinkled slightly as he knew he'd have to deliver the news. "Name your price." He said flatly. His men would be able to protect themselves. No one would die because they weren't properly prepared next time.
