RP Thread: Seamus Finnigan and Lilith Moon |
[Mar. 21st, 2008|11:25 pm] |
Who: Seamus and Lilith Where: Ri-Ra, Galway, Ireland When: Friday night, around 10. What: Lilith comes down for a drink, and she and Seamus discuss the news. Rating/Warnings: Also TBD
Another Friday night, which meant that Seamus was working an early shift behind the bar at Ri-Ra. He'd come in at five, and he was working until eleven, at which point he'd be heading across town with his guitar to play for a moderate crowd of magical hipsters at The Lemon Peel. Until then, though, he was just a bartender.
He was wearing the Great Big Sea t-shirt that Tracey had borrowed, mostly because he hadn't managed to get her off his mind. A strange situation, to be sure - maybe that was why he kept dwelling on it. Seamus frankly wasn't sure what to make of any of it. Between the Carrows' escape and Tracey Davis jumping in bed with him, life had taken a real turn for the surreal.
The pub had a good crowd, but not much of it was at the bar. Seamus was steadily making drinks, but most of them were going to the waitresses and out into the house. As a result, it was getting a little boring up there. He was spending a lot of time humming and singing along with the music over the pub's wireless. |

The Daily Prophet - Early Morning Edition |
[Mar. 19th, 2008|12:40 pm] |
BREAKOUT AT AZKABAN SIXTH DEATH EATERS ESCAPED, ONE DEFENDER KILLED Early this morning the Ministry of Magic announced a breakout of several prisoners from Azkaban. A spokesperson for the Ministry confirmed that sixth Death Eaters escaped from the high security prison in the early hours of today. These six escaped Death Eaters include: siblings Alecto and Amycus Carrow and former Ministry employee Walden Macnair, as well as Randolph Jugson, Icario Crabbe and Brutus Goyle. All six escaped prisoners were captured by Aurors in the Battle of Hogwarts nearly seven years ago. (For more on the crimes committed by these known Death Eaters, see page 4). “As far as we know; only one Defender of Azkaban was killed in the escape attempt,” said Stamford Jerkins, spokesperson for Minister Robards. “Nathaniel Proudfoot served as an Auror during the War, and was one of the first men to become a Defender of Azkaban during former Minister Shacklebolt’s term. His death is a sore blow to the magical community.” The Prophet has also learned that several Defenders were injured during the escape and one, another former Auror named Dermod Savage, is currently missing. The Ministry is so far making no comment as to how the breakout occurred. “We are doing all we can to look into this incident and to recapture the escaped prisoners,” said Stamford Jorkins, “and we ask that the magical community remains calm as we search for answers.” |
