Now that it's official, I can talk about this in public: SHIELD's back up and running, and they've got Tony Stark back in charge. Unfortunately we've lost a
lot of people, and anyone in a position of authority right now is pulling extra weight until we can make the appropriate promotions and new hires. So when I say "up and running", what I mean is "internal affairs stopped stalking the halls and I can use my email again".
I'll be leaning back from admin work for the Academy for a while. I'm still here, and I can still give kids detention, but Evangeline is going to be doing most of the work around here for the time being.
DEAN GREEN:You're my school assistant and you're really only supposed to help me with New Avalon-related things, but what would you say about joining SHIELD so I can use you for SHIELD-related work, too? The downside is that it is more work and may not mesh well with your superhero activities.
SHIELD (CURRENT & FORMER):Doors are open. Anyone who wants to come back can come back, anyone who want to quit gets to walk away now without a fuss.
So this is me saying: we are so understaffed and regardless of what caused any of you to leave or take a break, I could really use you guys. Our espionage division is wrecked, a ton of our field agents are incarcerated or MIA, most of our administrative staff is either gone or useless. We're hiring right down to the secretaries. It's a goddamn mess.
