To her credit, Dinah didn’t jump when he came out of the shadows- though she did a quick pivot to be able to face him, never once unbalancing her weight which was evenly distributed between both legs. She didn’t answer his not-question about Oracle. She didn’t need to, he’d nailed it. She hadn’t told Oracle where she was going or when and she certainly didn’t feel like doing it now only to get nagged at while Oracle called in her big bad bat-reinforcements.
“Not immediate danger, no. No one followed me." But that didn’t mean she wasn’t in danger-- that all of Gotham was in danger; but that was neither here nor there.
“Something’s going on at Arkham." She continued, "I was there last week and found..." She paused for a minute-- what had she found? No evidence, nothing concrete even. Just a bunch of thugs and a baddy with a spray can. "...Things aren't right there. And now Crane's missing."
