Who: Bruce, Tim, npc Sam, open to other Wayne Manor folk
When: May 1st
Where: Wayne Manor
What: Tim's looking for instructions and guidance. Of course he's going to Bruce.
Rating: Low
Tim was confident Bruce knew he had been avoiding him.
It wasn't the blatant obviousness of leaving a room when Bruce entered. It was Tim's scheduling to assure they were never in the same room to begin with. The last few days, however, he had not been intentionally avoiding Bruce. They were both busy people and just kept narrowly missing each other--one arriving just after the other left the Cave, one leaving the breakfast bar for work or class before the other, missing each other while Tim fixed a friend's car in the surface garage.
Finally Tim had resolved to go beyond chance and asked Alfred for Bruce's known schedule, then assured he was at the manor at the same time. Which was why Tim was standing at the room's entrance where Bruce and Sam were with an offering of fresh coffee.
"Talk?"
No feigned cheeriness. No flat poker face or bravado. He was leaning back slightly, weight on his heels and his chin angled down some. Whatever irritation Tim had was just plain absent, the anger that had been causing his avoidance gone. Instead he seemed to be trying to assess Bruce's mood (with readiness to retreat if it looked unfavorable). Etched under that was plain uncertainty.
Tim hated the unknown just like Bruce did. Apparently he wasn't confident how this conversation would go.
