Who: Apollo & OTA. Where: Gotham. When: March 14 @ 9PM What: Apollo is bored. So, he heads into Gotham. Rating: PG-13
Apollo had completed his end of the mission, and now Apollo was bored. Midnighter was in Metropolis completing his. They did this sometimes. Separated them so that they could learn to be "social" with other heroes and co-workers. Also, to see if they could take orders. They'd caught on to them pretty quickly. It was kind of amusing. Even if it was partly true. Apollo was fairly good at being social. Midnighter could pretend sometimes. He just didn't like people. Long ago, they'd been taught that having faith in most people was... Well, questionable at best. However, Apollo and Midnighter were good soldiers.
With his mission complete, his better half on-mission, and Jenny being watched, it left Apollo to his own devices. Bludhaven had its own fair share of crazy, but he'd heard about the Gotham night life and the bats and robins flying in the night, swooping in to save the day. Color him curious. Not that he was actively seeking to upset the gentle balance The Bat and his birds had set up in his city. Rumor or not. He wasn't about to piss off anyone in their city.
Deciding to have a seat on the ledge of a city building, he stared into the horizon -- Gotham at night was kind of beautiful. He supposed that could be said about any city at night. With the sparkling lights like stars in the sky. It was such a shame about the darkness that invaded everything. Glancing down, he decided to take it on foot, and dropped -- it was a rush to feel the air and gravity push against him but soon his power kicked in and he landed without so much as a thud.
He heard a yelp. A crash. Laughter. He grinned. Looks like his night in Gotham wasn't a complete waste after all. Dressed in civies, he entered the alley to find a group of three men surround a lady who looked about 85. What the hell was this woman doing out so late?
