Peter managed to find his way around campus with relative ease. He was more than certain ESU was where he was going, he had acceptance letters to plenty of places of course, he just wanted to make sure the one he chose was the right one. So he decided to do a campus visit with ESU, get a lay of the land and of college life; understand where he'd be studying, get an idea of what he wanted to do. It was meant to be a short visit really, nothing official, and would likely do a more official one with Gwen and some others some other day, he just had a free block today from school and decided to take advantage of it.
He had noticed, when he arrived there, that there were MHMRA protests going on, but that hardly bothered him. It was a college campus after all, and he was pretty certain 'political protesting' was a College elective. Still, it was pretty heated as he went to pass by it again on his way to the student building. Two sides going at it, shouting at each other about civil liberties, or equality before the law, and fancy-shmancy sorts of slogans and signs. That was all well and good, when suddenly a rock went flying past his head. He blinked, watching it get past the fence but not hit anyone. He quickly moved out of the way of the crowds as the fervor began to climb. The rock being thrown was obviously relatively ignored, though both sides seemed annoyed by the person who threw the rock.
Always bad eggs in some protests, always someone looking to start a fight. When a retaliatory rock was lobbed, Peter knew he had to hurry it up before things got way to out of hand. Quickly throwing himself around a corner, he moved to the back of the building where the loading docks were for the food services, and began to change.
When he finally flipped around the front of the building in full costume, mask tugged over his face, he noticed that more was getting thrown, including signs and brash insults. People were starting to cross the lines, and quickly campus police were stepping in to keep it from getting out of hand. Yet they were quickly getting overwhelmed by the horde. Sighing, Spidey swung down to jump into the chaos of it, but instead noticed a couple of snickering teens in the distance with some rocks around them. Likely the instigators. So, ignoring the fight at hand, Spidey swung his way over to that group stuck to a tree near the back of them.
"I'd give you guys a bad after-school speech about causing and starting riots, but really where's the fun in that? You're likely not going to be listening, and I take it your weapons of choice resemble pretty much most of what is lobbed in your brain. So instead," he webbed them by their feet and tugged, causing them all to go upside down into the trees, "Now you guys just hang out and think about what you've done, while I clean up your mess."
This whole registration thing was becoming a bit of an annoying soap opera.
