"I hope it is. The donor certainly made enough fuss about it when it arrived." He watched the armor in action, reservedly interested in how it worked with fine gestures and movements. The scientist in him longed to break it take it to one of his private labs, break it apart and study the conduits. He didn't get to work on private projects as much any more, and it irked him.
"A very true assessment of mankind in general," he agreed, nodding once. "I've often found myself thinking the same thing. Although I will not be joining in, it's good to know that someone with a rational mind will be voicing his opinions. Without it, their optomism might topple any good that they would accomplish."
And then he took a seat behind his desk once more, one leg crossed over the other. "Really. What kind of new data are you referring to? As someone who will be soon be sworn in as the new President of this country, I feel the need to plan ahead."
