Magic always annoyed him. He equated it to a kind of science that he couldn't quite tame just yet. It's rules always seemed to be changing, depending on who was using it or what brand/variety/flavor it came in. Annoying. At least gravity always sent you back down no matter if you were a speck of dust or an elephant.
Of course, one did not voice their opinion of magic when in the presence of a very powerful user of it. Lex kept his expression coolly calm as the other man worked, and even glanced at the device now on his very expensive desk.
