Re: Ibn al Xu'ffasch (Damian) and Coulson
"Yes, I've heard." There was just enough menace and warning in Batman's voice to convey to Coulson exactly what he'd heard about the agent's personal life. He left it at that, though. it wasn't his place to get involved in that business.
Coulson's compliment, however, made Batman snort softly with laughter. "Was the boy Chadian?" he murmured, turning his head a little to further obscure the comment from Damian's hearing. It was not improving his opinion of SHIELD to watch on of them get answers out of a boy, let alone his son, with such manipulative means. "They tend to speak their native tongue."
He gave Damian a warning look. "He's interrogating you," he said in Arabic. "He has no problem looking less intelligent than you to get what he wants because smart people like to show others how smart they are, and then they make mistakes. Don't show him you're smarter - be smarter. Watch him, listen, and learn."
Giving Coulson a very faint smirk, he nodded. "I'll speak to her," he said.
