Damian nodded in acknowledgement and gave Phil an assessing look. He was clearly trying to decide if the man was field agent or a glorified paper pusher. On one hand, Phil certainly didn't look like much but he was smart enough to side-step any awkward greetings. SHIELD might not have been the biggest shark in the pond but their minimum standards were pretty formidable. At least for most organizations.
"I am," Damian replied, pleased not to be underestimated yet again. "Probably more so than some of SHIELD's agents."
