Oh. OH. Reed tried not to look surprised but it was hard and he failed. Part of Reed wanted to take Cyclone aside for a moment and inform her, point blank, that while Kristoff was a very nice, intelligent and polite young man, his father was not nice and that perhaps staying with Kristoff wasn't the best course of action for a young, college-aged girl.
But he wasn't prepared to be that rude to Kristoff. At the end of the day, Reed liked the boy well enough, it was Doom that he had tensions with-- and there was no reason why the sins of the father should be transferred to the son.
"I was guest lecturing at Cyclone's University." Reed supplied politely. Idly, he wondered if Cyclone had told Kristoff about her internship application... but that was none of his business, to be frank.
