Teen Titan Debut

When: July 8th.
Where: New York City
What: The New York teen capes jump into the Winter fray.
Rating: Possible language and definite action/violence.
The snow didn't terrify some. The children were enjoying the untimely weather. Their occupied parents were fussing over the news, making guesses with each other as to what and who was causing the snow.
By the time any of them knew what was going on and the peril of it all, many kids had run outside in their jackets to have what every kid dreams about in July: a snow ball fight.
The new-fallen snow was quickly becoming a mussed sheet of white as three siblings flung the white powder in the air. An older kid was trying to make a snowman, but it was still rather lumpy looking. A vibration in the ground and some of the snow slid off its side. He frowned, trying to repack the snow into the desired shape. Another and he realized the vibration was more tangible, and could now hear the thudding footsteps.
He turned, pulled his hat up to hear better, and only then realized the other children were staring with open mouths at what was coming toward them.
Three red-eyed, sharp-toothed, blue skinned giants were charging their direction, the leading one holding a mace aloft with frosty spikes. The youngest was frozen in absolute shock as the older one left the snowman to run for her.
A dumpster slammed into the giant's face.
The creature wheeled to the side, mace plunging into the street. The metal dumpster made a screeching bang as it bounced away, frame bent. One of the giants stopped to look the direction it was thrown.
And met an infuriated green teen jumping right into its face with a fist.
There were quite a few things that made Teddy mad--but attacking children was definitely in the top five.
Teddy landed and ripped off the tatters of his jacket from his vest. The scaly armor was swiftly developing over his skin and his muscles bulged, full of angry heat. Large, green hands wrapped around a metal bench, pulling it from its chain. "You know what I hate?" he said through grit teeth as the giant he had hit regained its feet and the third started for him with a raised club. "Bullies!"
The bench landed in one of the giant's faces, knocking it off its feet. Teddy didn't hesitate to meet the other. Grabbing at its club and sliding back as it pressed with its heavier bulk forward, trying to wrestle the fulcrum point from him so it could swing.
This would be worrying if he were alone... If.
