She hadn't exactly been knocking the museum, but that they'd go there. Of course, she'd forgotten Mark was the pretentious one. "Everyone should see it once." She deadpanned. "Or so I've been told."
She'd seen every patriotic landmark from here to California, more than once. Her mother Liberty Belle for crying out loud. Still, she didn't know how true of a statement that was.
She flagged down a waitress and ordered a beer, knowing it wouldn't do a damn thing with her metabolism. "So guys, what you doing?" She asked with a bit of a knowing smile on her face. "I figure to bring you this far from home it might be a job, and I figure we can do this the easy way or the hard way." She started, getting comfortable in her seat.
"If there's a job, the easy way, of course, is you telling me what the job is and then not doing it. The hard way is me doing some research, putting on a costume, stopping you, and then you have to go through the drawn out process of breaking out of jail." The waitress came back with her drink. "How about we save that time and energy and live to scuffle another day?"
She took a long draw from her beer bottle. "Of course you guys could just be stalking Wally. If that's the case Metropolis is south of here, and good luck to you, and I"m not even being sarcastic when I say that." There you go, Wally.
