Thread: Jesse Quick, Weather Wizard, Captain Cold
WHO: Jesse, Mark, Len
WHERE: The Rogue's dive bar, NYC
WHEN: June 27
WHAT: Jesse sees that they're in NYC. There is much headdesking.
It wasn't often that Jesse got out of the office early. Sure, it was probably after a great deal of the staff had gone home, but it was early for her. She'd had a late meeting up town, and instead of going back, she'd decided to just head home. Sure, she could call the car to come get her or flag down a taxi, but with this traffic there was no way.
She hadn't been using her powers at all, and she really hadn't since her run with Bart, but she wanted nothing more than a shower right now. So she kicked off her dress shoes and looked around before saying, "3x2(9yz)4a," and taking off to her apartment across town.
She was paying close attention to her surroundings so she didn't hit anyone or anything, but when she saw them it still took her mind a second a process it. She was already several blocks away when her brain told her that she'd just seen Len Snart and Mark Mardon.
She was almost convinced her mind was playing tricks on her, after all that was about a thousand miles out of their comfort zone.
"Shit." If it was them, then it definitely meant they were in this city on a job most likely.
It was barely a second before she was outside the dive bar she'd seen them outside of. She peeked in the door and saw them settling into a booth. "Shit." She repeated. Definitely them. She slipped her shoes back on and pushed open the door to the dank bar. She was overdressed for a place like this, but she went straight to the table and plopped into an empty space on one of the booths.
"Mark, Len." She greeted. Seriously, what was it about Wally and these guys? Through that everyone knew everyone's secret identity so she wasn't too worried about it, but she figured calmly sitting down at a table in a bar with bad guys wasn't how most heroes bad guys worked.
She wasn't going to buy them beer though. That was Wally's schtick.
Just let them know this city wasn't speedsterless, which they may have thought.
Of course she hadn't been around this year.
