Re: Batman , we're waiting for you!
Batman took his time. As soon as Riddler's feed from the prison began streaming live onto the Internet, the computers in the Batcave searching for it beamed the images directly into the HUD display in his cowl. Setting up a countdown, he studied the perimeter of the prison, tapping into the security cameras, noting that someone else was using them already but not interfering... for now.
Calling up a blueprint of the prison on his palmtop, Batman followed it around to where the dining hall was - to where the hostages where being held - and, avoiding the rest of the riot entirely, grappled his way up the prison wall, into the inner courtyard, and proceeded into the large stone fortress.
The bulk of the fighting took place near the cells, but some of the prisoners and heroes came down his direction. Batman ignored them unless they tried to engage him, in which case, he either took them down hard and fast, or did what he could to turn them back over to someone else. He was on a time frame, and had bigger fish to fry.
The doors to the dining hall were locked - the better to hold him up, but a swift, sharply placed kick to the right of the lock bent it almost in half, sending it flying open. Stepping inside, Batman smirked as all the prisoners turned to stare at him and the door swung closed behind him. He had put most of them here in the first place. The hostages were wide-eyed, scared, but some of them dared to look hopeful.
