Re: Dinah & Oliver & Bruce (the bastard)
At this rate, Dinah was going to need a shovel to go with all the rakes.
"I'm impressed, Mr. Wayne, I try to keep my night job out of Gotham's collective public knowledge- which usually isn't all that difficult given the assortment of public figures and urban legends Gotham has to choose from." She said, poking a little fun in return, "You might have me mistaken for my mother."
Smirking, Dinah diverted her attention over to Hal and actually did laugh this time-- there really wasn't a whole lot Hal wouldn't do if he thought he had a chance with a beautiful woman... like say, getting beaten up in volleyball. She thought about pitying him-- then Dinah remembered it was Hal and thought better of it.
She could see the beginnings of a volatile idea starting in Ollie's face, but managed to look distracted. She saw what he was doing there. And the real question that Dinah certain all three of them were thinking of wasn't what would Ollie say next but how long would it be before Bruce found an in character way to punch him?
Seriously, if she had that shovel, she might just have buried both of them in the sand and left them for the tide.
