Selina - Open.
Sitting at the bar, the irony of the situation wasn't lost on Selina. Here she was, at a party surrounded by SHIELD agents and hosted by an Avenger. The good guys were out in full force and she was utterly surrounded. Smiling a little, she turned on her chair reaching out for her glass. The liquid inside was coloured orange and yellow, the smallest hint of the dark red grenadine lurking at the bottom. It looked like a cocktail, she drank it like a cocktail - but there wasn't a drop of alcohol in it. Truth was she didn't want to drink anything around these people - that and she was intending doing her usual patrol route later, all things going to plan.
Being Bruce's date came with it's perks. Mainly that she didn't have to keep casting him dark longing glances from across a ballroom, she'd become used to that over the last few years. The last couple of weeks had been strange and hazy for her, she was happy but unsettled, her natural state of being had been ruined entirely by their week abroad. It had been like a lovely dream where they were both normal and carefree for once. But her return to Gotham hadn't been particularly cheery. Selina's apartment had been broken into, a small sword taken back by the boy she'd taken it from - at least she assumed that much. Selina hadn't bothered to tell Bruce. For a start she didn't quite know how, secondly, knowing Batman - she knew how exactly how he would react.
For now, she sipped at her drink slowly, crossing her legs and turning back towards the dancefloor, the fire pit close by warming her up and casting a glow over her bare legs. Bruce would be back soon, done schmoozing with whoever he needed to schmooze with. Then maybe she would do a little exploring, dip her toes in the ocean, a dance, a swim? She was wearing suitable clothing underneath her top after all.
Selina sighed to herself gently. She could certainly get used to this kind of life. It was the side that had never come naturally to her, her guilty pleasure - the one she always felt more anxious to scrub off herself in the morning. But she was beginning to like it a little more these days. Mainly because she knew she wasn't the only one wearing mask any more.
