Was that possible? Could Loki have done such a thing? Billy found himself shaking his head in disbelief. Sure, Loki was the god of mischief, but what happened that Saturday, from what he had been able to discover, hadn't been mischief. Why would Loki do that?
Billy swallowed hard, his gaze practically screaming 'I don't believe you'. His arms tensed for a moment before relaxing as he folded them over his chest.
"One of us tells the truth... and one of us always lies," he said quietly, quoting Labyrinth. Though the movie was fun and light, this situation certainly wasn't. Billy didn't know what to believe, really. Wanda's ready admittance of her past misdeeds had knocked him off course for a moment. For someone so wicked and evil, she seemed genuinely remorseful. And Loki was the god of lies and mischief. Him misleading Billy would be right up his alley. Suddenly, neither of them were as they seemed.
With cold eyes, he looked at Wanda, arms still folded and lips drawn into a tight line on his face.
"I'm done listening to words. If you want me to believe you, prove it."
