Billy at least gave her the courtesy of listening, even if he didn't believe it. Halfway through her 'explanation', he stuck his hands back into his pockets and scuffed his foot along the ground.
"Right," he said with a huff after she finished, his eyes a bit moist from both anger and sadness. "So, you're saying what, exactly? That I'm not really me, or that I'm someone else and me? What does that mean, exactly? How can I be two people?"
He crossed his arms and leaned on the ledge that Wanda was sitting on, his eyes dark with frustration. "You want me to just accept this as who I am? I'm sixteen years old, Wanda. I don't know who I am! I'm just a kid. But you'd have me believe that I'm at the crux of gods and demons and mutants, and I'm actually two people in one body."
He took a deep breath and then spoke before thinking. "Loki was right... their deaths have really messed you up."
