Billy looked at Wanda with concern. She didn't seem to be handling his description of his dream very well for some reason. He took a small step back, not enough that it could be seen as fear, but more as giving her space. He was, however, ready to fly away at a moment's notice, devil may care who on the street saw him do it.
And then there was the question. Was there another boy? Billy thought about it for a moment before shaking his head. "No... I don't think so. But there was a mirror. I remember looking at a mirror before the darkness... only it was frosted, like that stuff that people spray on their windows at wintertime? Only, the me in the mirror was playing with cars. I remember that now. I wanted to play with the cars, but when I turned around, it was legos again."
He was hesitant to continue. He didn't want to cause Wanda to lash out. Still though, the memory was now raw in his mind... He had to speak it or he'd feel it stronger.
"There was another voice though... A woman's. As the blackness and everything is closing in, I always hear her say 'Na bister -', and then it's all silent, except for the licking of fire. It took me a while, but I found out what that is. It's Romani. It means 'don't forget'."
