She walked out with her head high. Unscathed? That was not as clear. It had taken considerable resolve for Thor not to say anything when Wanda Maximoff had informed them that she was with child. As far as he was concerned, that made her family, and he would protect her to the ends of the Nine Realms and beyond. To show that in front of Loki would be an error, however, so he simply nodded to Wanda as she walked past him.
Then, Thor approached Loki, looking straight into his eyes, taking measure of the God of Lies in silence. He could see beyond some lies, but there were layers upon layers, and the look of hatred was an honesty plain to see on Loki's face. One that came from within. He did not know how his brother could hate so deeply, nor what it was Loki so despised about himself. There was value in him that Thor could see, beneath the danger his brother posed.
Soon, Thor would have words with the Scarlet Witch, pledge an oath as he would to any of his family, and seek out her heart's intentions.
The God of Thunder folded his arms thoughtfully, as he saw his brother's eyes work furiously, no doubt trying to find an escape from his prison. The truth was, simply allowing Loki to remain on Midgard jeopardized all the people of this realm. Thor would need to find a solution... a way to break his exile and bring Loki before the All-Father.
"You would not be judged for that which is on your heart, brother. Allow yourself to rejoice in this news, let go your hatred, and someday we might be as brothers should... united."
