Mia had been getting an early start on some weekend homework. She generally loathed having school work hanging over her head ruining her weekend, so she tried to get it done after school on Friday. She'd gone straight up to her room. School work, in this case, meant an obscene amount of reading, and The Scarlet Letter was going to make her suicidal.
So when Oliver called-- yelled probably a more apt description-- for her, she jumped at the chance for a break. She was still wearing what she'd worn to school that day jeans, turquoise converse, and a t-shirt. "WHY ARE YOU YELLING?" She called out when she opened her bedroom door, but when she got to the top of the stairs where she could see Ollie and Dinah her brow furrowed for a fraction of a second before she rolled her eyes. "And why are you dressed up for chilli night?" Seriously way to be subtle Ollie.
She did smile brightly at Dinah though and bounded down the stairs with about the same level of excitement as Lian would have and gave the woman a quick hug. "How've you been?" Alright so she really did miss Dinah when she and Oliver were "off."
