Dorrek VIII

I bring in Dorrek VIII or better know as Hulkling right after he met his father but unknown to him at the time that the person was a Skrull. For you see, Hulkling had just found out whom his father and mother were. His father is Kree soldiers better know as Captain Mar-Vell and by law had to join the Kree army but here the kicker for Hulkling mother is of Anelle, the Skrull Emperor's daughter, and the only heir to the Skrull empire. But the Emperor had ordered the child's death upon learning who his father was so Teddy was sent to Earth.

Teddy was raised by his single mother who really was a Skrull posing as a human who he believed to be his mother. Teddy did not know the true source of his power and assumed he was a Mutant. Until the day he was abducted by the Super-Skrull who said that Teddy was a Skrull himself and he had come to take him back. After a battle the group (minus Eli) escaped to Wiccan's house where they found who they thought was Hulkling's mother, but before anything could be made clear the Super-Skrull broke in with the Patriot as a hostage ordering Hulkling to come with him. The Super-Skrull then used a device that was supposedly supposed to reveal that Teddy was a Skrull but instead revealed that his mother was a Skrull. She stated that she was ordered by the Empress to protect Teddy and shot at the Super-Skrull who retaliated by setting her on fire, resulting in her death.

Agent 22

Johnny Owen doesn’t go by his real name anymore he just goes by Agent 22 of S.H.E.L.D. He was hand pick by Dum Dum Dugan to join S.H.E.L.D. for Dugan like the boy skills with a gun and thought S.H.E.L.D could use a other skilled marksmanship in their ranks. Plus Johnny also like what Dum Dum Dugan had shown him when he took him to one of S.H.E.L.D. land bases. Agent 22 was made a part of the Black-Ops Division but he is also know to have work with in other Division of S.H.E.L.D.

For those whom my not know what a Brood is they aren't just savage, they're evil, intentionally enjoying the suffering they cause others, especially the terror their infection causes their hosts. They've been compared to "demons". Given the incident with the Acanti Soulforce it may be that they have a supernatural origin.

I'm offically going to offer up Parker as a freelance thief for the good guys and good guy teams. She'll still be with the Assassin's Guild as a Affiliate along with her main team of Leverage.

So any pups that know of Leverage and the team would somehow know of Parker.

ETA: Also seeking some lines for Sidney (Scream), Violet (ASOUE), Susan (Chronicles of Narnia) and also going to offer Penelope as a FBI based contact for any of the good guys as well.

Who are the skrull?

The Skrull are a “are a shape-shifting race of aliens, ...naturally green-skinned, (with) the ability to take the form of any human or animal.” (http://marvel.com/embracechange/main.html) These aliens have lost their homeworld and set their sights on taking over the planet earth. They appear to be a peaceful, compassionate group, manipulating the media by use of misleading propaganda to gain the trust of our species and enslave our kind. They have begun to attack the members of our world they have deemed dangerous which consist of any human with special ability, knowledge and expertise. The Skrull infiltrate by kidnaping and replacing and there is no way to tell them apart from ourselves. They take on every aspect of an individual, their appearance, their personality, even their genetic composition and physiological traits/abilities. It is only when they are weakened or killed that they reveal their true form.

Where do they take those who are captured?

The Skrull have bases all over our world and have been here for several years without us knowing. They even have interplanetary stations on Mars. S.H.I.E.L.D, Torchwood and Team Altruism are tracking the Skrull through their galactic resource personnel and are the teams with the most experience in searching for a missing person. If a person or NPC has been captured it is up to the player where they are now located.

What happens while you are captured?

The Skrull encase all those who have been taken in an organic compound native to their planet that creates a hyperbolic state of vegetative homeostasis. What in the heck does that mean? STOP TALKING LIKE SPOCK, RAMBLEMOD!!! It's simple: your character will be in a coma, except they won't age. They will be sustained by the environment around them, provided with nutrients and entrapped in a green plant-like cocoon until someone finds them and wakes them up. The player has the option to have their character's mind still linked to the personality in which the Skrull has stolen to create their doppelganger. Which means the sleeping character would be aware of everything that has happened while they were gone- everything the Skrull has done while impersonating them.

Now the question becomes...

Ladies and Gentleman! If you have seen the latest New_Worlds post, that means you have encountered our latest and greatest EVENT! The Event is entitled "Secret Invasion" and it is a Marvel Comics canon. This DOES NOT, however, mean that other canons are not to be involved! No-ho-ho, be assured that your friendly New Worlds Mods are very careful in picking and choosing the subject of their Events in order for the entire Community to be involved!

So, you may be asking yourself, WHAT the heck is this event all about? Well, that is what we created the SLS (Storylines) Community for! To have a forum in which you can express any questions and to give us a chance to explain the main plottage to you. Here are some basic reminders about events;

1) Events are intended for all fandom involvement but are in no way a requirement! If you so choose not to have your characters involved in the events, it will not effect membership in the Role Playing Game so long as you continue to adhere to the rules (which means maintaining the one post per month minimum mandate).

2) Because this particular event involves the kidnapping, replacing and impersonation of characters the Mods feel it necessary to remind the players puppeting is prohibited. Only a player can move their character, agree to have them be impersonated, replaced, kidnapped or moved in anyway. ALSO!! PLEASE ask for Mod approval before writing such actions regarding NPCs.

3) The start of a new event means the END OF PREVIOUS EVENTS. So, Subsider threads can be completed but no NEW Subsider threads will be allowed to be posted, as the threat has been extinguished. Your Mods will be posting news paper articles having to do with the end of the event and more information on the start of the new one.

I HIGHLY SUGGEST IT!

Dante is a half-demon and one of two sons of the Legendary Dark Knight, Sparda. Not that too many people know about it in this world. One day, he was taking a nap in his office...and when he woke up he found the entire building was on a new street, in a different world, where nobody had any idea who or what he was.

A lot of people would be miffed about that. Dante? He always hated being (in)famous, and he hated people badgering him because of something his father did or did not do. As an added bonus most of the people who he owes money are in an entirely seperate dimension. Score!

To the world at large, Devil May Cry is a small demon-hunting business based out of New York City whose sole current employee is Dante himself. He has a remarkably high success rate when he actually takes jobs, but he's also known to be rather picky about what sort of work he does, and he won't always tell someone why he refused them either; sometimes he'll just say he didn't feel like it, or it was boring, or something like that.

He doesn't do parties, 'mundane' detective work, or any kind of exorcism that doesn't involve pounding the culprit into a pulp. He can also tell the difference between a human and a demon in disguise, so trying to trick him into assassinating people is...ill-advised.

Lady Tessa she was once known as, now goes by the title Sage. She once worked for Sebastian Hiram Shaw as his personal assistant. She gained intel on what Hellfire Club was planning to do, decided it would be best to not let Shaw gain anymore power he had already obtained. She left Hellfire Club and the title of personal assistant behind. Her true roots were calling her. Sage found herself back at Charle's Xavier's School for the Gifted. She became a teacher and in point in time the headmistress of the school. Sage could not sit still, she gave up all her rights and decided to move on. Adventure boiled over her, it is in her blood. She knew something was brewing, a new kind of evil started to lurk out of the deepths of the shadows. Sage formed a new group known as Team Alturism. She recruited many different people to be apart of the change, the change to bring hope back to the world. She and her team stand against all the wrong and injustice the world has become corrupted with. Along with her new team, she and the others have gained a great amount of information -- this information is leading them towards the truth. The truth is starting to look ugly.

Gar Shai he was about to embark on become a youngblood Predator, but due to his somewhat of a mother Machiko Noguchi begins to feel as if she doesn't belong with the hunters and when she find out that the youngblood were about to embark on a human killing mission. She removed him from the mission and embarked to the Plant called Bellatrix 2. But on the way there their spaceship was attack and she pushed him in to a escapes pod and the next thing he felt was the pod making a time jump. He doesn’t have a clue where it’s taking him.

Joseph Marko is not with any organization and is somewhat on the run from Kronos Corporation since his father made him into the Guyver O. and he didn’t mean to be involved in that fight that took places in D.C. But he couldn’t watch those men in green push those people around and then one of those men in green pushed him around also. As the fight went on he saw Iron Man and seeing that Iron man is somewhat like him. Joseph followed Iron man back to Stark Tower, but he spent days before he was about to enter the building that in tell he saw a car pull up to Stark Tower that had the marking of the Kronos Corporation on it. So he stays outside the building.

Deathstroke is a mercenary and assassin also the leader of the Organizations knows as Titans Villains for Hire. Now he back in Gotham for he was paid to carry out a assassin but since he is here he dropped by and had a drink at the Iceberg Lounge where he had a run in with Dick Grayson and they had a small talk. He told Dick that he was moving to Gotham and Dick told him that he be watch his every move so Slade keeps to his task to find the person he was paid to assassin as he play with Dick mind at the same time

Sebastian Hiram Shaw is the Chief executive officer and principal shareholder in Shaw Industries, Inc. He is also the Black King of the Hellfire Club of it secret Inner Circle, but he wants the title of Lord Imperial back. whom make his goal come true he teaming up with Doctor Doom and he stared back up the Sentinels programmed that the US government took from him and Emma Frost. He hasn’t told her that he doing it that yet for he saw that she had somewhat moved on in life for she’s married now. He;s in talk with his former King's Executive Assistant Tessa, but she goes by Sage now for he would like her to work for him again. He didn’t know that she was the one who helped the person whom is now the LorImperial gain his power over Sebastian.

Jason Todd or is now better know as Red Hood at one time had tie with the Batman family. He has no tie to any Organization not, the only person he has tie to now is Talia al Ghul for her the one who had and still is financing him. Also she was the one to set him on the path in being the Red Hood. Now the Batman family had just find out that a person is going around claiming to be Jason Todd and he also goes by the name Red Hood. Also none of them have seemed his face let.

Nightcrawler is in the Organizations call the X-men, but I’m playing him like he came from another time. So he still looking the places over and seeing people he knew that where die or now alive. He had a run in with Scarlet Witch but it’s the same person he knows.

Black Tarantula is Crime lord and overseeing of the Organizations called the Hand in North America and right now is selling the blueprint of the S.H.I.E.L.D Helicarrier, but he didn’t say that the blueprint is the Helicarrier and if you wanted to know how he gotten he took them for Crossbones.

Crossbones works for the Red Skull leader of the A.I.M and run his Skeleton Crew. They are something like his elite trooper, but he had a face-off with the Black Tarantula then Caption America came in and as three of them battled. The Black Tarantula made his get way leaving Crossbones and Caption America to fight it out and when it seen that Crossbones had Caption America the next thing he knew is that he waking up in a detention center that is run by S.H.I.E.L.D.

This is just a small crash course for those new to the world of Leverage and Parker.

Parker is coming from the tail end of the second season (but with room if anything about her is revealed during the coming season) and she is part of what is basically a band of modern day Robin Hoods. So the last she knew Nathan had just given himself up and well she has no idea where the rest of the team is, not good for a woman who has not had the best of luck when it comes to family. The team has become her newfound family.

But for the moment Parker is without her team and well she may be one of the best thieves in the world but she's not so great with people. In spite of this one person in this place does get her: Ezio Auditore of the Assassin's Guild (and she is going to freelance for the various good guy teams as a thief for the short term along with her being an Affiliate for Ezio).

The Hellfire Club

The Hellfire Club mentioned in Marvel Comics is in fact based on a real establishment founded in the 18th Century. The Club is infamous across England and Ireland (it's foundation) for it's mark on society as a gentleman's club that promoted such debauchery as prostitution, alcohol abuse, drug use, drug peddling and of course mixed these with a political agenda. It became an elite force in the socio-political world as the members were persons of high class society. Business arrangements circled around the club and eventually it became essential for an entrepreneur to gain access if he sought the most efficient means of networking. Hedonism flourishes on Hellfire ground. Though the higher ranking members such as Sebastian Shaw and Emma Frost have come in conflict with X-Men, the Hellfire itself has no one true enemy. The establishment brings in as much Pros as it does Cons which is why government tends to turn a blind eye. Hellfire is neutral ground.
