Elena rubbed her forehead. the metamorphosis from human to vampire was incomplete, or at least that’s how it felt. Just one of many feelings bouncing around her body like a bingo ball spinning in the turner, making her a bit uneasy. As her body was finding some balance in all of the changes, as excited as she was about having him, it would be their first time. Both sides of what was now Elena battled for their own way.
“Not our first time,” lust might be a Vampire’s middle name, but the humanity clung to her, or maybe it was because human or not a woman was always a woman, regardless if she was a killer or not. Many men might disagree with that thought, claiming all women were killers. Truth was few killers were woman, and even fewer vampires. Regardless their first time would be special.
Dropping to her feet, hands to her head, she’d felt this ache coming on slowly, but with such incredible powerful. It felt like she were a voodoo doll and something was ... . That’s all it took, grabbing the necklace around her neck, pulling it with all her might, the clasp broke the exertion sent it flying across the floor.
Elena placed her face against the cool tile floor. Her index finger idly traced the grout between the tiles until her lids fluttered shut. She’d been poisoned by the very necklace she’d worn as a human. The vervain was contained; still it was able to place toxins in her body. It wasn’t long until she woke up rest and starving.
“Vampire,” she said aloud twirling. Tapping him on the shoulder, she yelled, “tag, you’re it.” But he caught her before she finished the word, ‘it’. Like Tobey MacGuire in his first superhero movie, Elena too tried her newly found powers, and feeding before the nagging feeling began to take over her body.
“Do you always know when dawn is coming? Do you always feel it like this?” The feeling itself was odd, filled with sadness and things she still had to learn.
“Damon?” Elena spoke softly her voice carefully hiding the realization they might not make it to safety. Elena paused truly thinking about his, no she was the one needing shelter and time wasn't on her side. “I’m not all sparkly like you,” she had to tease him; it was either laugh or cry right? That's how she had to look at it. “I need shelter," she said softly.
Before the realization of their situation hit him, Elena teased him some even more.
"I so should have had blade turn me, then I wouldn’t have worry about being crispy Elena. Not a look I think I can carry off.”
