Jason's attention was attracted by the new voice as his friend entered his room in the dormitory. He waited for the man to get himself settled before nodding and taking the offered hand. It was a relief to see the man and in relatively good health. Granted he was still on the crutches, but it was an improvement from when he'd last laid eyes on the man.
"Bruce, I'm sorry for the unannounced intrusion, my friend, but I wished to see how you were.” He paused, adjusting his hold on the case he had brought with him. The last thing he wanted to do was to worry the man, but given the request that had been made of him it seemed essential to get him the information as quickly as possible. And the documents… he could have sent them via computer, but there was the added bonus of seeing his friend.
He had no doubt that Bruce would think something strange about his reasoning. And the fact that he had left the confines not only of his home, but of the country would be a red flag. “I’m glad to see you are doing better.” And it certainly looked like he was. Niceties were important. After his conversation with Barbara, he knew that this would not be information Bruce would like to hear…
