Tibet was beautiful. Moreso than he'd remembered. Having been alive for more than 800 years, Jason Blood had admittedly seen too much. Too much fighting, too much peace. He had seen generations rise to power and fall by the swords of their decendants. He was fixed. A point upon which time seemed to only be evidenced by the occasional appearance of a grey hair once every fifty years or so. It was a daunting existance. He could fill volumes with the things he had seen, and once he had attempted to do just that, but it too had fallen short. He was - like everyone else on the planet - simply trying to find an existance that worked for him. And perhaps he had succeeded. Then again, perhaps not.
Climbing the stairs of the temple, Jason was granted entrance and led to the room their guest had been given. It was of rather small size, nothing like Jason knew Bruce was used to at home, but this was what was offered, and so what was taken. The man was not there. The monk motioned for him to wait, and thus Jason took a seat on a stool that say against the wall. It was... calm here. Few distractions. And he found himself thinking it would be ideal for meditation. But he had not come here for such endevours. He had come to deliver information. It had not been difficult. Portals - while complicated magic - were easy when one had assistance. This time assistance had come in the form of Dr. Fate. The return trip would be the same way. There was no time limit. He need just call them and he would beh ome before he knew it. Fate had owed him a favor. This had seemed like as good a time as any to cash it in.
The business in Gotham had him troubled and the trip to see Barbara had left him on edge, both mentally and physically. The entire thing was a mess. And the woman seemed more determined than ever to see it through. And of all things - while it didn't surprise him, it did cause worry. Gotham City had always been something of a hub for the supernatural, but it was kept very much under the radar. The idea of demons starting to flock to the city was a sign of disturbances of a magnitude he wished not to even contemplate. And the information he had gotten showed that this man might be at its epicenter. But the question held, what was so special about him. He had recieved some information about the man, but other than his hunter background there was nothing that suggested him capable of this... There was unfortunately nothing to do but sit and wait for the arrival of the man to whom this room truly belonged - for the moment belonged at any rate. He had been working very hard on his recovery. Jason only hoped he had not interrupted any key exercise with his visit...
