"If I listened to you all the time then I doubt the three of us would ever make it into work." She winked at him, rather pleased at herself. She'd never been a big dancer. She'd never been very good at it, but Jack was a good teacher, and she managed not to make a fool of herself on the floor. In fact she had a great time.
By the time they got back to the table, she'd had enough dancing for a bit. She leaned against Jack, wrapping her arms around him. "You're welcome." she smiled softly. "If anyone deserves it its you." The surprise had been a big success and they had to come back - next time with Ianto. She thought he'd get a kick out of hte place.
Glancing around she noticed that the crowd that had been here had started to space out a bit. Some going to other floors. Martha slipped a hand into the pocket of Jack's pants, becuase it was there. "So tell me about these missions of yours," She decided. "I never turn down stories of danger and intrigue." She leaned in kissing him, it just felt right. Admittedly Jack was right, she should listen and get out more, but the last weeks had been just that full. She didn't want tonight to end.
