The hub was quiet. Almost a quiet today as it had been yesterday. It was something she had come to dread ever so slightly; not becuase there was the threat of imminent invsion when you weren't in the midst of one, but because when Jack got bored he found ways to amuse himself. And that could mean anything under the sun! Literally.
The urinating beaker from yesterday had been the latest in a long line of Harkness-related bordom relief that didn't involve her or Ianto and a bed. Why? Well she wasn't about to answer that. But she'd been giving Ianto and his condition so much of her time and concentration recently that she hadn't even been sleeping much. The Doctor was in cold storage, so for the time being it was up to her to find a way to keep Ianto from disappearing, until the Doctor was healed enough to do it... But for several reasons - with the TARDIS still parked in the Hub - she had access to it, which was good for what she was planning.
Martha had made sure to spend some time sitting in the console room. The feel of the TARDIS was the same as it always was, like walking into something warm, which she knew had been the ship welcoming her back, welcoming her home. She'd managed to find the Wardrobe Room with little to no hastle, and now as she exited the ship, closing the door behind her, she let her hand rest on the door frame momentarily.
Picking something up from the table in the kitchenette, Martha walked to Jack's office, the heels she was wearing making clacking sounds on the floor as she went. She was ready to go out. Her hair was up, her longcoat covering her clothes - it was a new coat. One that no one had seen before. She had a plan. If he was that bored then the fact that she'd been saving this was a good thing. It would blow him away.
Glancing through the doorway, she carefully watched for a moment before deciding the proper course of action. Pulling her arm back, Martha threw the beaker, aiming at Jack's head. "Oi! Come on," she said waiting for him. "We're going out."
