HI PALS

Figured I should actually intro these two properly. First, Thalia, Muse of comedy and pastoral poetry. She's been in LA for a couple of years writing on a TV sitcom; now it's been axed, she's back in New York, teaching improv and working as an MC at Merlin's comedy club.

Second, Arthur a Bland, who took to an off-the-grid cabin in December 1999 to escape the coming Y2K apocalypse and has been chilling there ever since. Sure, he's somewhat unhinged, but he makes up for it in raw enthusiasm! Before he started spiralling in the nineties, he was a hardcore activist.

Plots, connections, friends new or old, I am down for anything!

	I am DEFINITELY up for Thalia trying to get Much to come and be a stand up comedian, and for any ensuing hijinks. Also I think in Much's past he's been involved in a bunch of union activity and strikes and protests, so maybe he and Arthur spent a bunch of the 80s doing that sort of thing together? 	yesss! Merlin's already pointed her in his direction, so she could drop into Diogenes one night? hahaha, I bet they spent a lot of time getting arrested together! I can imagine Arthur being involved in Yippie-type stunts like the attempt to levitate the Pentagon. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Yup, keen for that!! Oh HELL yeah! Much would have definitely been all for that! Sometime around the late 60s was when he got separated from the others and ended up in Hawaii, I bet it was an arrest for a protest that separated them, and then the others had scarpered by the time he got out. I don't have a super clear idea of where Arthur's been spending his time in the US, all I really have nailed down is that he's been involved in different forms of activism and protest for a long time and that he was with a bunch of the Merry Men when he went full Y2K prepper, so if Tuck was around in 1999 he would have seen Art's spiral into paranoia! Other than that, I'm open to anything!

Thalia:

I really want Theo to get into stand up at Merlin's club, so she should totally do that with Thalia's help. She loves stand up - everyone pays such attention to you!

Urania is... Urania. She's around and likes Thalia, though she's not exactly made of funny bones.

Kratos is around to make sure all the Muses are safe still

Arthur:

Marian won't have seen Arthur since the early 80s, because that's when she lost track of the Merry Men (for reasons I've never worked out and will probably continue to just handwave forever). But Alan would have been around, and all about that activist lifestyle!

	I've said Theo was into stand up back in [whichever town I said she lived in, maybe Milwaukee?] so she'd be so into getting back into it and having the approval of auntie Thalia! Urania will accept space memes, might even post the best ones up on her fridge. (Reply to this) (Parent)
