If the boy was smiling and waving, he was definitely either holding it together impressively or was on a truckload of drugs (though from what Hermes had said about him, it could be both.) Beneath the wounds and the weight of his experience, Henry was a little older than Apollo had been expecting; all Hermes' 'kid' talk had Apollo picturing a teenager. But still, some of Apollo's post-grad lads would be about Henry's age, and they were still his boys.
He left Hermes at the foot of Henry's bed, giving his brother a light pat on the shoulder as he moved to take the seat beside Henry, pointing at it with a "May I?" before helping himself to the chair anyway. "Hermes has been telling me all about you," he said, giving Henry a smile in return. "Holding out like you did, for love. And what you did for my kid brother over there. I gotta say, it's really good to meet you, Henry."
