When the elevator doors slid open, revealing the apartment to him properly for the first time, Hermes’ eyes lit up. Now this was living! He walked in slowly, enjoying having the time to himself to appreciate this and soak it all up. This was no Skandi blandness or impoverished shithole that he’d had to live in lately. This was glass and gold and velvet and luxury, open plan and light and airy, and he loved it. The enormous windows really just made the view worthwhile.

Being forced out of Freyr’s middle-class lifestyle had turned out for the best. This way he got to live the dream and the little annoyance of dealing with the original was taken care of by Lucifer. He couldn’t have asked for a better scenario, really. And maybe he could find Freyja and fuck her again, and she would cry to the heavens and never know it was the very demon that took her brother.

While he was enjoying that particular possibility, the elevator doors opened behind him, and he half-turned to see who it was.

“Ah, you’re back,” he said, and gave Luna a pleasant smile. “And how did you go?”

Luna smiled brightly at her Lord and Master, her arms holding onto the large bag of oranges that he'd asked her to drive to Rhode Island to pick personally from a specific orchard. A five hour round trip for special oranges was hardly the weirdest thing they had ever asked of her, and honestly Luna loved those sorts of quests. She got to drive through interesting small towns and just be alone with herself and an audiobook. That could hardly be considered work at all.

"All went smooth," she assured him. "I ate one on the way home and they're delicious." She walked over to the fruit bowl so she could unpack the rest of them. To fight the heat she had her hair up in a high pony tail, though the long sleeves of her dress had made that feel a little pointless under the glare of the sun.

	"How delightful." Hermes nodded, his eyes following her movements as she moved. Oh, she was a tasty morsel, this one. The god's memories of her were varied and prolific. "How about you make us some fresh mimosas? It would take the edge off this heat." Not that it was hot in the air-conditioned apartment, but it was the principle of it. It was remarkable how much both her and Peitho could thrill her, even after years of living with them, years of catering to their every whim, years of being loved by them. A simple kiss and command from either of them made her weak in the knees, and she loved it.

She slipped away from him so that she could make their mimosas, luxuriating in the cool of the apartment, before bringing them over to where Hermes was and sitting down beside him, passing his drink across and taking a sip of her own.

Hermes took the flute and paused a moment. Then, with a strange sort of smile, lifted it to Luna's. "Here's to new discoveries," he said, chinking his glass against hers lightly, with the clear ring of good quality crystal. He looked her over, trying to decide what to do with her first as he sipped his drink too. "The fresh orange juice really makes it, I think. Aren't I genius for having thought of it?"

"To new discoveries," Luna agreed, and he was right. The fresh squeezed orange juice of these quality oranges certainly made the best mimosa Luna had ever tasted. "When are you not a genius?" she asked, and there was equal parts respect and teasing in there. Hermes adored her loyalty, but since the beginning he'd enjoyed that she had a little bite.

The first time they'd met he'd barely even acknowledged her until she'd said that her name was Luna and that he'd better learn it since his wife had been screaming it for months. She'd expected a punishment for the slipped out snark, but instead he'd laughed. She knew that he enjoyed her pushing back because she always knew exactly where the line was.

"So true," Hermes replied with a smirk. He knew he appreciated this one. He could feel the love for her in the bedrock of this person, the way Hermes would kill for her, and felt the same thing too. Beckoning her in for another kiss, he reached out an arm to wrap around her waist and pull her into his lap. "Did I ever tell you how gorgeous you are?" he asked, taking a mouthful of his drink and setting it aside so he could catch her free hand and kiss the back of every finger.

"I feel like you're about to make it hotter," Luna teased, before taking hold of the bottom of her dress and pulling it off over her head. Beneath it she was wearing one of her favourite sets, lacy in black and gold. (Luna owned more lingerie than she ever expected to do in her life, but some of it was not practical for wearing under a summery dress when driving for five hours.)

Shuffling her to the side, he reached for his fly and undid it, his hard cock straining against the bamboo cotton blend of his very expensive underpants. "I will stay anywhere you want me," Luna promised, slowly moving onto her hands and knees on the couch beside him, leaning down and breathing him in. How lucky she already had her hair in a ponytail and didn't have to push it much out of the way.

She started slow, running her tongue along the shaft and reaching out with the hand not steadying her to wrap it around the base.
