WHO Peitho, Luna, Tinsel, Hermes
WHEN Wednesday (27th)
WHERE Peitho's apartment
WHAT thank you dinner with a grateful goddess
WARNINGS tba?

It was a forty minute drive from Peitho's apartment to the address in Brooklyn where Luna had been and she'd been halfway there when Hecate had messaged to say she was bringing Luna home. So back to the apartment Peitho went, and when Luna returned Peitho opened her arms to the girl.

She'd been angry at Hecate to begin with, that she hadn't healed Luna properly, but Luna explained she had asked for that. Peitho had to admit she didn't quite understand Luna's reasoning of needing to heal on her own, but she wasn't going to force her to be healed. If Luna needed to heal herself for some very human reason, then Peitho would stand by and let her do that. She was stubborn, her Luna, and Peitho thought that might be part of it.

Instead the goddess kissed her face, her head, her hands, told her that she loved her, that she'd been so scared. She was relieved and disappointed to hear the man was dead, because she'd had such thoughts of sending Hermes after him to be correctly punished. If only he'd been a Greek believer, and her husband could have followed him down below.

But tonight was not to think of human monsters. Tonight was to meet Luna's friend and rescuer. When the elevator dinged, Peitho (tonight in animal print) made her way over to greet the girl while Luna poured them all wine in the kitchen.

"Hello," Peitho said with a bright smile at the sweet blonde she found there. "Oh, aren't you a lovely thing?" She leaned in to kiss Tinsel's cheek. "Thank you for joining us, darling. I'm Peitho."

Tinsel thought she'd seen nice apartments in her time working with donors for her charity efforts. She'd thought she had a nice apartment. But compared to THIS...

Her mouth was a little agape as she stepped out, to be greeted with the lovely Peitho in her floor-length red dress, and wow her breasts looked amazing in it. Tinsel blinked away from them and smiled at Peitho as she returned the cheek kiss greeting.

"Thank you for inviting me," she said. She was wearing a black v-neck jumpsuit herself, hair tied up to make a bit of effort. She had the impression that Peitho was lux but this was next level. "Your home is amazing."

"Thank you," Peitho smiled, always pleased to see people impressed with it. There was a certain pride in seeing people distracted by the vast walls of windows that looked out onto the city. "I love to have the natural light."

Peitho led the mortal across the apartment and to the central marble counter that was the kitchen. "Wine, Tinsel?"

Luna smiled at her friend. She was dressed in a much less eye-catching way than her mistress, in well cut black trousers and a soft white shirt.

(She was trying not to feel weird about Tinsel being here. This apartment didn't usually see her friends over to visit. There was also the small fact that Tinsel had seen her as a total mess - seen her filthy and bloody and killing a man. It was hard to know exactly where their friendship stood now.)

"Luna! Yes thank you," Tinsel said, brightening up when she saw her friend. It was hard not to look for pain there, to try and see the bandaging under the shirt to make sure it had all really happened. She stepped forward to take the glass and smiled at them both. What a place to live. It was like living in a magazine.

"I'm glad you got home okay," she said to Luna. "How are you feeling?"

"Oh, you know," Luna told her with a bright airy smile. "Livin' the high life." She raised her glass to Tinsel, wishing that they could wipe the slate completely clean.

Peitho reached out and resting her soft hand on Tinsel's arm. "I can't begin to express how grateful I am. How grateful my husband and I both are."

Tinsel accepted the toast from Luna with one of her own, then looked at Peitho as she spoke. The goddess had a certain aura to her that did sort of draw Tinsel in, and make her pay attention to her.

"I just- I did what you were all doing too. I just got lucky. And I'm super glad I did." She smiled and looked back at Luna. She was so glad. Imagine the mess if any normal person had found Luna.

"I think you must have been more than lucky," Peitho said, shaking her head. She turned her attention to Luna before sliding across to kiss her gently, one hand on her cheek. "My beautiful Luna. Too many times I've almost lost you to the hands of violent men."

Luna felt a little awkward at that comment, and in front of Tinsel, but she just smiled back at Peitho. Because anytime Peitho was paying her full attention to Luna was like basking in the light of the sun.

"Tinsel followed Hecuba," she told Peitho and looked back at her friend. "Not many humans would have done that, I don't think."
