Right, this wasn't going to end until Ares pummeled his friend into a pulp. Asterion hoped Bia was going to be okay, but she wasn't really his concern. He abandoned fighting the god entirely and ran back, scooping Antigone over his shoulders.
"I'm sorry," he said, taking off with her as an unwilling party. He ducked back inside the bar, joking to a few patrons who gave them funny looks, that she just needed to have a little water. Then he carried her through to the immortals area and back into the employee only zone. Only then did he unshoulder her, putting her down. "He was going to kill you," he said quietly.
