WHO Guy of Gisborne, Marcella Bellini
WHEN Tuesday evening
WHERE Outside a bar in Manhattan
WHAT John pulling a classic power move
WARNINGS mentions of sexual assault & rape

Of course, when John told Guy of Gisborne to meet him, he had little to no intention of showing up. Gisborne was getting a little presumptive. He needed to be put in his place and reminded who was the king here.

As 7pm ticked around, John checked his phone, pursing his lips in thought and glancing up at Isabelle. He would be a fool to walk away from her tonight. They had cooked together, with laughing, flirty touches, and if he played his cards right, he could have her on her back on the new rug in the new living room before the night was out.

Perhaps it was Isabelle's influence that made him message his assistant, instead of leaving Gisborne out to dry.

I need you to meet someone at [this address]. Go now. I will tell you what to say to him shortly.

**

Marcella was, it could be said, loitering in a McDonalds when she got the message. Luckily, the bar her boss wanted her to go to wasn't that far away, so she could probably make it in not too long a walk.

She'd heard of Guy before. John had vented about him in her presence once or twice, of his intrusive manner and unreliability. She was curious to see what he was like. She still hadn't met many immortals. John didn't appear to be all that popular with them. She would have to make a plan for that one day soon, but in the mean time, this was an opportunity.

She didn't want to get there on time. John was firm on that point. Make him wait, piss him off a bit. She strolled down the block towards the bar, messaging on her phone, telling her "boyfriend" she would be late, to which she so maturely received an angry emoji in reply. With an eyeroll, she stopped and leaned against a wall to take off her Vans and replace them with her work heels, shiny black LouBoutins. Using a window for a mirror, she tidied her hair, smoothing it into a high bun, then took a selfie to reaffirm that her make-up was on point.

Then with a sharp click of her heels, she strode towards the man she was instructed to meet.

He didn't think she wanted kind from the moment she picked him up at that bar. John sent her for a reason, and maybe he could have been a gentleman, but that wasn't exactly his M.O. The stint with her ex, well, he still thought she'd played that up for the sake of scaring him until he'd pissed himself. He'd have done a lot more damage, but she'd stopped him, so he couldn't quite figure her out. He didn't know her game, but this was a good start. She didn't seem a delicate flower, but he did kiss her, and he kept kissing her.

Kisses were good, she liked kisses. She made moans at the right moments, arching against him and gripping his sides with her thighs. "Don't stop," she sighed, holding onto his shoulders until he was done.
