Who: Constanze, Helenus
What: Eros strikes again
When: Valentine's Day
Where: Her place, then his place
The school day had carried on business as usual for Constanze. Here and there she had to pull apart students canoodling in the hallways and remind them school was no place for such affections. By the end of the day she felt more tired than usual. Holidays that landed on school days tended to be more exhausting than other days. Students needed constant reminding that they were in school and not at a social event. At least there would be no after school rehearsals that day.
Upon arriving at home Constanze retrieved her mail from her box and proceeded upstairs to her apartment. It wasn't until she had reached her couch and sat down that she noticed a particularly shiny envelope. "Hm," she opened the letter curiously, wondering who had sent it. There was no return address. She figured it was junk mail, but the envelope itself was so pretty she wondered if it might be from Aloysia.
Nope.
The moment she pulled open the envelope a strange sensation overtook her and then went away just as quickly. She had the overwhelming need to visit Helenus. Without hesitation, she stood up and made the trek to his apartment, letter still in hand. Which felt like an eternity. Constanze felt like she couldn't walk fast enough. When she finally did reach his apartment building she hit the buzzer.
Bzzzz bzzzz bzzz
She bounced a little on her heels as she waited impatiently.
Bzzzz bzzzz bzzz
"Come on, answer," she said aloud. Time seemed to have stood still and she needed to see him. Now.
