Who: Vicodin and Norah
When: Monday afternoon
Where: Codeine's place
What: Chance meeting
While things weren't completely settled yet for Norah, at least she had finally gotten her apartment in order. She had also met with her new therapist a couple of times now and she felt herself resisting the new setting. It was never easy for her to open up to a new therapist. She may not admit it, but that was part of the reason she didn't move all that often. She tended to regress into old habits, and she was in denial now that nothing was wrong. Then there was her new position at Ballet Deviare. While she was a natural at dancing and she had based her whole life around her career, she still felt self-conscious when she started at a new place. She had also had her hair cut over the weekend and was still getting used to it. Between all of that she hadn't been eating much, not that she would ever admit that. Those closest to her could see through her denial, could see her own struggles she persistently denied, and it was they who ultimately helped her.
Norah had been feeling a little overwhelmed, so she had decided to drop by and see her brother. She had been welcomed at Codeine's and she felt comfortable enough dropping by. She did wonder if maybe she should have called first, but if they weren't home she would just leave a note. She rang the doorbell a couple of times, waiting a few minutes to give either of them enough time to answer. It was a fairly big penthouse and could take some time to get to the door. She rang once more and waited just a little longer. When no one came after a couple of minutes she pulled out a little notepad from her purse and stared to write a note. She heard the elevator chime and glanced over her shoulder to see if it was her brother or Codeine. When she saw a dark headed man get off and come this way she knew it wasn't them, and turned back to her note to finish it.
