WHO: Vanth, Hecate, Hermes
WHEN: Wednesday 20th
WHERE: Hecate's shop
WHAT: Meeting some Greeks
It was the appeal of meeting a similar goddess to herself, and one of the ones that surely still had a lot of worship. Vanth followed along with the pagan communities online for mostly one very selfish reason - she liked to pipe up and pretend to be someone who worshiped the Etruscans in the hopes of encouraging more to do so. So far it had not exactly brought them back from the brink, but maybe it was making some tiny dent in the constant fear of disappearing that Vanth felt.
But Hecate? The witches these days loved Hecate, and while Vanth was jealous of the attention the Greeks got, she couldn't hate them for it. Her people, after all, had taken much of Greece and made it their own, just as Rome had then done in turn to the Etrusci themselves.
And so Vanth was curious, to meet a woman with such remaining power, and to meet her consort whose own name was still famous as well. These would be good gods to have on her side.
At Hecate's shop she was greeted by a mortal woman unpacking a box. She realised she had no false name to use for Hecate and so she didn't, instead just telling the girl she had been invited to meet with the goddess. The girl just nodded and said, she told me to expect you before leading Vanth to a staircase and pointing her up it.
The roof did have a garden as promised and Vanth could feel the power of the other goddess before she even saw her.
