WHO: Padraig and UK!Andrew
WHAT: Internationally panicking
WHEN: April 25th, 2016 (I don't know wtf day it is)
WHERE: Padraig's townhouse
WARNINGS: TBD?
Padraig had been feeling the effects of the upcoming anniversary for months now, but considering the Easter Rising began on the 24th of April, 1916, it was hardly surprising that on the 24th, it all kicked into high gear. It didn't help that there were protests and rallies all over Dublin, though, so far, they had all been non-violent. For that, Padraig was glad. He wouldn't be of much help in his current stated.
In his current state, he wanted to tear down any and all relationship Ireland had with England, and turn his back on them forever. The Irish occupation was a scar that had never truly healed, and though he was able to ignore it most of the time, all that pain and anger was too hard to shove aside at a time like this. England still had control over the North and it had been a century. How was that possible? It broke Padraig's heart, even with the Assembly.
Thank everything that Andrew was coming. Padraig was pretty sure if Darerca or Columba showed up, they would all rally each other into doing something seriously stupid. If George arrived, Padraig didn't honestly know if he would be able to stop himself from shooting his brother in the face. Dewi and Andrew were likely the only brothers who could calm him now, and Dewi Sant was such a Luddite there was no way he would have seen Padraig's slightly desperate plea for help.
Padraig waited for Andrew to show up, though the urge to run out into the streets and join the protests was almost overwhelming. In the end, Padraig located a pair of handcuffs (left over from some Lust shenanigans, he was sure of it) and he simply chained himself to his fireplace and tossed the key in the general direction of the door.
