WHO: Jayden, open to the house
WHAT: Badness
WHEN: Friday early morning
WHERE: Their home
WARNINGS: Eating disorders
Near the end of his fourth day on nothing to eat but a few bites of toast, Jayden couldn't take it any more. He had been curled on his bed around his aching stomach for hours, throat spasming with the effort it took not to cry.
Four days was enough, right? Four days was a job well done. He could eat something small, and it wouldn't mess up too much, surely.
Jayden rose from his bed, glancing at the clock on the way to make sure it was late enough that no one else would be in the kitchen. When he saw it was 2 am, he figured that was good enough.
He made his way slowly since his head felt too big and every step made him horribly dizzy. He made it to the fridge, the light inside casting an eerie glow into the dim kitchen as he surveyed the shelves. There was some leftover turkey from Thanksgiving and that seemed like the easiest thing to devour quickly. He had managed to avoid Thanksgiving dinner by volunteering at a soup kitchen, but he could benefit from that now.
Jayden pulled out the plastic container and opened it, tossing the lid aside. Then he sank to the floor, right there in front of the fridge and ripped a handful of the turkey so he could shove some of it into his mouth. Oh god, it was so good.
He was literally unable to stop himself as he ate mouthful after mouthful, swallowing and taking no time before reaching for more. Halfway through he started to sob because it felt so weak to give in now, but he was just so hungry. Jayden continued to eat until he felt like he might vomit, and he shoved the container back into the fridge, not even bothering to replace the lid. Then he bent his head forward, his back still flush against the fridge, and he continued to cry.
